TODAY'S TOPIC IS GOING TO BE LUXURY BECAUSE WE WILL DISCUSS ABOUT THE TOP 5 MOST LUXURIOUS TRAINS IN THE WORLD --------

1) VENICE--SIMPLON ORIENT EXPRESS.

You must have heard the name " Orient Express "  in many train simulator games , tv shows and expeditions , this was the train about which you were hearing . 

This  is a British super luxury train which has a cost of 2535  euros per trip for one passenger. The  journey time of this train for it's most famous route is 2 days with one night over-board.

 For example - the fare of this train  for a journey from Paris to Istanbul for a cabin suite is around 31,000 euros !!!!! ( 1euro = 89 INR)

This train is owned and operated by a private parent company whose name is  Belmond. This train is not only the most luxury train but it is also known as one of the oldest luxury trains which are still running , because this train was started in the year  1884 , quite old isn't it ???

The dress code in the evening in this train is formal but casual. The men prefer to wear a suite while women wear a beautiful attire !!!!!

 If we talk about the catering system of this train , then you don't have to worry about paying extra , as the catering charges of this train is included within the ticket fare itself. 

The food is prepared by the best chefs on-board in the pantry car and can be ordered on the seat or the passenger  may go to the buffet car to fetch his/her meal !!!

There is also good  system of entertainment of the passengers because there is Wi-Fi provided in the train , Train has ut's own library car , there are Tv's installed in passenger's cabin and many others. According to the reviews of the people about the Orient Express are quite good that tell the sevice staff is cooperative and helpful , the atmosphere of the train is very good and there is good security in and around the train !!! 

2) MAHARAJAS EXPRESS ( INDIA ).

If we are discussing about luxury trains and don't count India's Maharaja Express then this will  be unfair !!!! because it is the world's second  most luxury train which is not a train , in fact it is a 7 star hotel on wheels !!!

 This train is operated by Indian Railways and IRCTC ( Indian Railway Catering And Tourism Corporation ) jointly. This train has a ticket price of INR- 18 lakh , seriously ???

The Maharaja Express was started 10 years ago  ie- 2010 , and it's booking office and corporte office are located at Barakhamba Road- Connaught Place , New Delhi. This train has a journey time of one week and travels through the Indian states of ( starts from Delhi Safdarjang Railway Station )

Delhi---Rajasthan---Gujrat---Maharashtra---Goa---Delhi

and on seventh day of it's journey it reaches its destination Delhi around 7:30 in the morning. 

The most famous specialty of  this train is that the food in this train is served on Gold plated plates , and each of that plate costs  INR-35,000, I am not joking !!!! 

This train has onboard wi fi  and large Televisions in the passenger's cabin. The passengers are picked up from their home and dropped to the station in a BMW car and when they enter the station they are welcomed with red carpet as well as Indian culture dance and flower petals.

3) THE ROCKY MOUTAINEER EXPRESS ( CANADA )

This train is a Canadian super luxury train which runs between Banff  to  Vancouver . This train has a travel time of around 3 days and per head ticket costs $1,000 . 

This train is owned and operated by a company whose name is same as the train - The Rocky Mountaineer , which is a rail tour company of western Canada. 

This train chugs through British Columbia and Alberta.

The Rocky Mountaineer Express was  started 30 years ago in the year 1990 , and  this train however has runtime of mostly  during day- time because to give more memorable experience to passengers by enabling them to explore in daylight !! 

 The catering charges of the train travel is included in the  ticket fare itself and the passengers are given complimentary alcoholic or non alcoholic drinks and gourmet meals during the journey. The train has glass windows on its roof to give you more experience of travel!! 

4) ROVOS RAIL ( SOUTH AFRICA )

This  luxury train belongs to South Africa, which is operated and owned by a private company whose name is Rovos Rail. This train runs in the route of South Africa--Namibia--Tanzania.

 The ticket price of this train is divided into 2 classes which are 
Gold Suite-- $13,000  And  Deluxe Suite-- $ 17,000.

The dress code in this train is  , for men- Jacket and Women- cocktail dress !!!!
The travel time of this train is also during the day-time and in night this train halts at sidings of the railway stations for whole night and continues it's journey from morning, the travel time of this train is around 9 days in which it covers over 3,450 kms.  

All the meals which are served in the train are charged in the ticket fare so you don't have to pay separately for  food , which is given during the  journey !!!!

5) SEVEN STARS ( JAPAN ) 

This train  is the most luxury train of  Japan  and the train consists of  2-person suites and has good sleeping facilities. 

The ticket cost of this train ranges from 3,20,000 yen to 9,00,000 yen for 2 day and 4 day journey respectively. This train is operated by  a private company whose name is Seven stars .

The Seven Stars Express  starts from  Hakata railway station  and travels around Kyushu via Fukuoka -- Oita--Miyazaki etc and  has  halts at Yufuin and Onsen. This train was started seven years ago -- in October- 2013 . 

The most unique thing in this train , which you will not be able to find in other trains is that this train consists of an Observation Coach 

which is transparent from back and the passenger can see outside views from the rear of this train. All catering  charges of this train are included in the ticket fare itself !!
